If you have attorney resources, you can let the individual know that after they’re done preparing their forms with Upsolve, they can come back to you to get the forms reviewed.

Upsolve Screening Criteria

1. Comfortable using a computer

2. Not a joint bankruptcy filing

3. Under the median income for household size in your state

4. Over $10,000 in dischargeable debt (credit cards, medical bills, payday loans, etc.)

5. Under $10,000 in total assets

6. Not a homeowner, no mortgages, and no other real estate

7. No pending personal injury lawsuit

8. If required to file last two years of tax returns, must have filed them

9. No bankruptcy filing in the last eight years

10. Does not intend to try erasing student debt, child support debt, spousal support, or debt from a DUI
